We have seen many Surrons which have never used chain lube and the o-rings are dry rotted and falling off after less than 2 years, prematurely destroying the chain. Chains need to be kept clean and lubricated to prevent rust and extend the life of the o-rings.

Maxima's Chain Guard Care Kit has everything you need to keep your drive system clean and protected. The kit includes Maxima CleanUp 15.5 oz., Maxima MPPL 14.5 oz. and Maxima Chain Guard 14 oz.

Chain Care Program

  • Hose off mud and large debris
  • Spray Maxima CleanUp on chain and sprockets. Let stand 1 minute
  • Rinse off with water
  • Spray chain liberally with Maxima MPPL
  • Follow up with Maxima Chain Guard
